Spirited Art and Poetry Competition June 2020
In thinking about it, it helps to remind ourselves as well as the children, it’s not really a story about industrial relations although it might something to say about everyone having enough to live on. Instead it’s saying something about God who not only keeps his promises and plays fair by all of us. He doesn’t reward us on a sliding scale based on what we’ve done but wants to bless us all equally. I’ve added in some questions at the end that could be explored with the children.
Bible Story (17th July) – The Farmers Story
Bible Story of the week (8th July) – The Two Builders
A key question perhaps is why the children who WEREN’T good neighbours acted as they did?? Do we act similarly sometimes?
Bible Story of the week (12th June) – The Good Neighbour
Bible Story of the week (5th June) – Jesus and the children
Bible Story of the week (22nd May) – Jesus and Zaccahaeus
Bible Story of the week (15th May) – The Good Shepherd
Bible Story of the week (8th May) – Remember the Rainbow
