Dear Parents/Carers,
Please meet Mrs Procter at the tennis courts at 9.20 a.m.
Bring plenty to drink, a mid morning snack and suitable clothing for a typical English summer (everything from shorts to rain coats)! If your child has a hot school meal, the meal will be kept for them on their return to school. Children bringing their own packed lunches will have their lunch at the same time.
Children should wear their PE kit and trainers or daps; no jewellery is allowed.
Directions to the Marlborough College Preshute tennis courts:
Park at the large car park at Marlborough College (take the second left turn after the traffic lights at the College “building bridge” over the A4 – the first left is at the traffic lights and goes into the main part of the College – do not go here.)
Once you have parked, walk back to the A4 and take the footpath than runs alongside the pavement ( in the direction of Devizes). Follow this path over a bridge and through St George’s Church graveyard. Continue slightly uphill, past the Church car-park on your left and you will see a grassy area to the left – I will be waiting at the corner of the tennis courts here.
I showed the children the Google map on the Marlborough College website which is helpful.
