A Date for your diary – BURN’S NIGHT celebrations – January 24th
The Friends are delighted to be holding a first ever event for Chilton Foliat – celebrating Burns Night!
Please do come and join in the fun – tickets are available from this week for £15 from the school office, Jessica Henman (Pippa), Freya Priddey-Chan (Atticus and Marius) or Lisa Boswell (Archie and Oliver) and include a drink on arrival, canapes, hot food and a ‘wee dram’ for a toast. If you have any special dietary requirements then please do let us know when you purchase your ticket.
The band – Apricot Pie – will lead the dancing (with a caller) and there will also be a paid bar for further drinks. Please leave your stilettos at home to protect our hall floor
We thank Jessica Warren for co-ordinating this fab event and look forward to seeing you there. The children will enjoy a decorated hall on the Friday and will be treated to Haggis meatballs at lunchtime so that they can join in the experience and learn about the traditions of Burn’s Night.

– The loan of white fairy lights, which will be returned after the event
– Red or tartan material or decorations
– Donation of an unwanted bottle of whiskey recently gifted to you!
– Help with decoration of the school hall on Thursday 22nd January at 6.00pm
– Help with set up on the day (midday until 4pm or part of that time)
