Collective Worship
Our school’s Christian Vision and Collective Worship (CW) are deeply interconnected, guiding and shaping one another to create a vibrant, inclusive, and spiritually rich experience. Each Collective Worship is thoughtfully designed, beginning and ending with bespoke prayers that embrace thankfulness, courage, and love while welcoming the Trinity. Our worship is consistently invitational, inclusive, and inspirational. Songs, chants, and prayers unite us, while children actively lead through storytelling, reflections, and meaningful contributions.
Assisted by the Collective Worship Council and supported by leaders, clergy, and high-quality resources, our daily act of worship fosters a deep understanding of Anglican traditions, world views and enriches spiritual development. Joyful singing, particularly through initiatives like ISing Pop, and a thriving school choir highlight the importance of music. Students embrace spirituality through narrative, prayer, and song, understanding its broad meanings and connections to nature, the universe, and each other. By living out core Christian values, children and adults alike grow in positive action and reflection.
Our open invitation to families and strong community participation, including governors and clergy, further strengthens these ties. Special services and events bring everyone together, ensuring Collective Worship remains a powerful and celebrated expression of faith, learning, and unity.
