Chilton Foliat Primary School is maintained by Wiltshire Local Authority. We warmly welcome applications from families living both within Wiltshire and in neighbouring local authority areas, including West Berkshire.
Parents and carers should submit their school application through the local authority responsible for the area in which they live. This is usually determined by your home postcode.
If you are applying from outside of Wiltshire Local Authority, please send a copy of your application to our office team at Chilton Foliat so they can track your application with you. admin@chiltonfoliat.wilts.sch.uk.

In Year Admissions/Transfers
If you’re applying mid-way through a school year, there’s a separate process that needs to be followed.
All in-year applications will be dealt with by Chilton Foliat Primary School Admissions Team.
Parents applying for a school place will need to complete an application form (and a supplementary information form where necessary), and return directly to the Admissions Team at Chilton Foliat Primary school. Parents will be notified of the outcome of their application within 2 school, days and details about the right to appeal, if applicable. Transfer arrangements for our Year 6 pupils going to secondary school are sent to parents during the Spring Term prior to their children starting in September. These arrangements include visits made to the school by our Year 6 pupils and Parents Evenings when you can visit the school and meet the teachers who will be directly involved with your child/children.
