Welcome
"With thankfulness, courage and love we strive to improve heart and mind."
You have only to visit us to realise that our intention is to offer the best of educational experience, diverse, full of enrichment and engagement with our local community and further afield. Supported by a strong Christian ethos, our curriculum is broad, balanced, connected and values based, inspiring our children to develop a thirst for knowledge. Everyone works together to ensure that the whole school community can flourish. We have happy, successful learners who like to have fun too!
We believe that our values, thankfulness, courage and love encourage reflective and inspirational attitudes which are nurtured to help all our children discover the very best of themselves. As a result, our children leave Chilton Foliat Primary School as well-rounded independent learners, who strive to achieve their best, have a strong sense of community, and are kind, loyal and fair. They leave us prepared for the challenges, experiences and responsibilities of the next stage of their education.
Our school is situated in the rural village of Chilton Foliat on the Wiltshire/West Berkshire border. The school and its grounds are set in a glorious location with views of the surrounding countryside. We welcome families from far and wide; many live outside our formal catchment area in both Wiltshire and West Berkshire.
Our large, bright, inviting classrooms are well looked after by everyone. Class sizes are smaller than average, each benefiting from highly experienced teachers supported by well qualified teaching assistants. Our extensive grounds, ample play equipment and access to the local countryside enable full delivery of our PE curriculum and outdoor educational experience. We offer a wide range of clubs and extra-curricular activities during the day and after school.
To serve our working families, our Chilton Foliat Community Clubhouse accommodates our wraparound childcare facilities. We open our Early Bird club doors at 7.50am and our After School club closes at 6.00pm.
Having our own kitchen allows us to provide healthy nutritional school meals easily for all the children at the school. With our own large car park we offer a safe, secure drop off and pick up as well as a designated entrance for parents and carers to access safely.
You are very welcome to come and see all our wonderful school has to offer.
