We will be holding a Parent Forum on Wednesday 26th April to explore the topic of homework. Parents are invited to drop into the club house anytime between 2.00pm and 3.00pm for an open session where views will be gathered. We are in the process of reviewing the school’s policy and practice on homework and would value your input. General comments are very welcome, any personal comments about your child’s homework must be directed to your class teacher.
The focus of our School Development plan implementation for next term will be a review of the school’s Behaviour and Anti-Bullying policy and practice. The whole school team will be working together, using evidence-informed publications and scholarly articles to inform our approach to these two most important aspects of school life. Once we have formulated our ideas, I will invite parents to a second discussion forum.
