Our school day is packed and for some children it starts in breakfast club and ends in an after school club or after school-care.
At Chilton Foliat, no two days are the same! This section is designed to give you extra information, a flavour of the day that your child is likely to experience here at our school.
Of course, The National Curriculum guides what we have to teach. But how we teach it is up to us. We make every day as interesting, interactive and inventive as possible which sees us using all resources available to us both in and out of the classroom.
Our wrap around care is unique
We’re very fortunate to offer wrap around care on-site. For those requiring an early drop-off, there’s a breakfast club which is provided in the main school hall. If your day extends beyond ours, we have an on-site after school club provided by Chilton Childcare in the Clubhouse. For those with energy left at the end of the day, why not try out one of our after school clubs? They’re also run from school premises, either by staff, other parents or 3rd party providers.
To book:
-Please complete the attached booking form (available in both pdf and word) and submit it to the office with payment in an envelope addressed to Chilton Club Childcare (or email to chiltonclubchildcare@gmail.com).
– Payment is required in advance, cheques payable to ‘Chilton Club Childcare’. We also accept a number of childcare voucher schemes, so for more information please email us.
-Each child attending Chilton Club needs to have a Registration Form completed. This form is also attached. (If you have done this already, there is no need to do it again until September, unless any information contained within it has changed)
-Ad hoc bookings can be submitted to the above email address, but if it’s within 24 hours then please contact the school office who will inform us. In these instances payment is due when the child(ren) are collected from Chilton Club.

Thanks again for your support. The club is proving really popular, and we are delighted that more often than not, parents find their children would prefer to continue to play rather than go home! The staff team are terrific, currently exploring ideas on what additional resources to invest in to provide the children with a wider variety of fun! Watch this space!
