During the week beginning Monday 11th July we will be coming off (strict) timetable to enjoy our annual themed week. Making links to the Jubilee and the concepts of service and duty we aim to offer the children the opportunity to live out our Christian vision to strive to improve heart and mind, be aspirational and bring hope to the community of which they are a part. Through service we also want to encourage our children to demonstrate how they can be courageous advocates for change by engaging in social action. Preparations are already underway and further details will be sent out shortly. The line-up of activities will include:
• A concert and afternoon tea for our senior community
• Grow a Fiver
• An open afternoon including a children’s fete
• Visitors to school to talk about service through volunteering
