It was so heart-warming last term when parents and governors came together to do such a fabulous job of tidying up the school grounds. So many people have commented about the positive impact of this half day of hard work and it was great that we were able to get such a fabulous group together.
We would like to arrange a second session, this time involving the sanding, painting and other things that needed to wait until the Spring. So we aim to paint the lines on the playground, picnic tables, install new things purchased by Friends, mend things, tidy the gardens etc.
Rachel is kindly co-ordinating parent involvement but I wondered if you could let me know if you would be able to help on Sunday 29th April. Alex Miles will also be coming on that day to help us with the tepee.
Thanks in anticipation! Timing wise, 10am until approx. 2pm worked well last time and we will provide the clubhouse, tea, coffee, brunch etc etc!! Just a few hours really does make a huge difference..
