Dear Parents and Carers,
The Friends are delighted to announce that this year’s Summer Fete will take place on Saturday 22nd June. Huge thanks to Heidi Heath for designing the incredible poster which is attached. There will be plenty of information to follow in the coming weeks, including how to get hold of raffle tickets, how to buy tickets for the Zoo Lab in advance and lots more.
As always, these big events simply cannot run without volunteers. We will need people to run stalls/BBQ, bakers to make cakes, and people to help set up and clear away. If you are able to help for a one hour slot, please email Rachel at friendsofchiltonfoliat@gmail.com
Marlborough dance festival performance re-imagined for the
summer fete on Saturday 22nd June
We are delighted that Miss Charlotte will be coming back to school to do a ‘refresher’ of the hugely popular and successful ‘Trolls’ dance routine that our KS2 children performed at the Marlborough Dance Festival. The twist is that the dance routine will be re-imagined for the ‘Greatest Show’ summer fete!
The performance will take place during the afternoon of Saturday 22nd June, at approximately 2.15pm and will be a great way for the children to display this fantastic routine to those attending the fete.
Please could the children wear the costumes that they wore at the Marlborough dance festival and get changed into them on the day just before the performance.
Please let the school office know if your child is unable to attend.
