Awesome Oxenwood Residential Trip

Year’s 5 & 6 spent an amazing 3 days participating in a variety of activities such as hiking, fire building,
shooting, archery and wall climbing at Oxenwood Outdoor Adventure Centre. The pupils were fabulously behaved and a real credit to the school). Geoff, one of the instructors, was a real hit with Sika
class with his (sometimes terrible!) jokes. Being such confident pupils, they all wanted to give their positive feedback about the trip. The full report, including everybody’s comments can be found on the
website, but here are a few common phrases and words the children used which represent the success
of trips such as these:
perseverance * braver than before * confident * challenge * amazing *
fantastic roast potatoes and delicious gravy!
The pupils had such a great time that they have asked to return next year. Luckily there was a space
and the Year 5 pupils have already chosen the activities they would like to do with Geoff, Ed and Emily!
